After several years of little intervention, this prime location second home (traditional Victorian property) became severely dilapidated with rising damp, rotten windows and leaking roofs, amongst many other problems.

Work to stop the old lime mortar brick walls from further damage began in Spring 2011 with a specialist contractor on site removing the old cement based render. Extensive repairs were carried out to the rear kitchen walls, followed by structural repairs to rotten roof components. A new en-suite shower room was built for the front bedroom, extensively rotten old sash windows where repaired/replaced and once in the dry, a full upgrade of the wall external renders (to a lime based system) and internal plastering was done.

The lovely new garden was finished by the end of the Summer.
