Looking for a new modern home the client purchased this ‘worn-out’ property on the Banbury Road in Oxford. Subsequently he approached Habitar Architects with a brief for extensive alterations, repairs and a new open plan rear extension as the main feature. A loft conversion was later added to the schedule of works and Oxford City Planning Consent was granted in March 2012.


A self-build approach was taken by the client with ad hoc consultation and Building Regulations package provided by Habitar Architects.
